This refund policy covers digital products purchased from our Etsy shop (tradesmanoffice.etsy.com). All transactions are processed through Etsy and subject to their platform terms in addition to ours.

Digital products are non-returnable by nature

Once a digital file (Excel spreadsheet, PDF, or template) has been downloaded, it can't physically be "returned" the way a tool or piece of equipment can. This is true of all digital products on Etsy and across the internet. Our default policy reflects that: all digital product sales are final.

When we will issue a refund

Despite the default no-refund policy, we will issue a full refund in the following situations:

1. The file you downloaded is broken or corrupted. If the Excel file won't open, the PDF is unreadable, or the download is incomplete, we'll either send you a working version or issue a full refund. Contact us within 7 days of purchase.

2. The product is materially different from how it's described. If our listing says the price book covers 360 plumbing services and you discover it covers 50, that's our problem and we'll refund.

3. Duplicate purchase. If you accidentally bought the same product twice (or bought a single product when you'd already purchased the bundle), we'll refund the duplicate.

How to request a refund

If your situation matches one of the refund cases above:

1. Contact us through your Etsy order page (Etsy's messaging system) within 7 days of purchase. This creates a record of your request and lets us troubleshoot the issue.

2. Describe what's wrong (e.g., "the file won't open," "I bought the bundle by mistake after already buying the electrical book").

3. If we agree the situation qualifies for refund, we'll issue it through Etsy's refund process. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

Free updates

When we update our products (new code year, recalibrated pricing, etc.), customers who previously purchased that product receive the update at no cost. Etsy notifies you when an update is available. There's no need for refund and re-purchase.
