Got an audience in the trades?
I make flat rate price books, code references, and free calculators for tradespeople. If you make content for the same people, there is something here worth talking about, and it does not start with me asking you for a favor.
Start with the part that costs you nothing
Every calculator on this site is free, has no email gate, and never will. Link them in a description, put them on a resource page, or send them to someone asking what to charge. You do not need my permission and you do not owe me attribution.
Most useful to a trade audience:
- Contractor Labor Rate Calculator What to actually charge per hour
- True Cost of an Employee Calculator Labor burden per billable hour
- Service Call & Trip Charge Calculator What a truck roll costs
- Markup vs. Margin Calculator The error that costs the most money
- All eight free tools Plus four printable templates
These convert well for creators because they solve a problem the audience already has, and nobody has to hand over an email to use one.
Three ways to work together
Pick whichever fits. You can take the first one and ignore the rest, that is fine.
A free review copy
Pick any price book, code guide, or template and I will send it over, no cost and no conditions. Look at it, use it on a job, say what you honestly think. If it is not right for your trade, say that on camera. I would rather know.
A discount code for your audience
Your own code, named after your channel, good for a real discount on anything in the shop. It gives your viewers something concrete and it tells me which channel is actually reaching people, which is how I decide who to keep working with.
A paid placement
A description link, a short mention, or a fuller integration, agreed and paid up front. I am a one-man operation, so I am not going to pretend the budget is enormous, but I pay what a placement is worth and I pay on time.
What happens after you reach out
- You send a noteChannel link and which trade your audience is in. That is all I need. No media kit, no rate card, no deck.
- I actually watch your stuffNot a form reply. If I do not think my product fits your audience I will tell you that instead of wasting your time.
- We agree what makes senseReview copy, code, paid placement, or some mix. Written down in an email so we both know what was agreed.
- You get what you need to make it easyYour code, pre-written description copy you can edit or ignore, product images, and the links. No approval process, no brand police reviewing your script.
So you know what you would be pointing people at
One-time purchases, no subscriptions, delivered as PDFs and spreadsheets. Built by a working master electrician, which is the whole reason they are not generic.

- Code Quick Reference Guides NEC, IPC, IMC, IRC

- Contractor Tools Spreadsheet tools and calculators
This applies to you too
Send me a note
Channel link, what trade your audience is in, and which of the three you are interested in. I read everything myself and I answer.
Questions creators ask
How big does my channel need to be?
Smaller than you think. If you make content for tradespeople and you have an audience that actually watches, I want to talk. I would rather work with ten channels doing three thousand views in the right niche than one doing fifty thousand to a general audience.
What do I have to do?
For a free review copy, nothing. Look at it and say what you honestly think, including if that is nothing at all. For a discount code, mention it and put it in the description. For a paid placement, we agree the format and the fee up front.
Do I have to say nice things about it?
No, and please do not. An honest take from somebody who actually swings tools is worth more to me than a scripted read. If the price book is wrong for your trade or your market, say so on camera. I would rather fix it.
Can I just link the free calculators without any of this?
Yes. All the tools are free, there is no email gate, and you never need my permission to link them. The offer below exists for people who want to go further than that.
Is there an affiliate program?
Not yet. Everything sells through Etsy right now, and Etsy does not support seller-run affiliate tracking, so I will not promise a commission I cannot verify or pay reliably. A discount code for your audience is what I can do properly today. If you are a channel where a revenue share makes more sense than a flat fee, say so and I will tell you honestly where that stands.
What do you sell?
Flat rate price books for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry at ninety nine dollars each, code quick-reference guides at under twenty, and business templates like quote forms, invoices, and job profitability trackers. One-time purchase, no subscription, delivered as PDFs and spreadsheets.
Who are you?
Jason Cugley, licensed master electrician and foreman in the Philadelphia area. I have run my own electrical contracting company and I still work in the field. I build these because I needed them and could not find anything that was not a four hundred dollar a month software subscription.
